A young man who went to meet his girlfriend at village Chounda in Sangrur fired shots at the suspect. The victim, whose condition remains critical, has been admitted to Chandigarh. Gurdhian, a resident of Dhuri, told police that at the girl's request, the girl went to his house at 10 am on March 12 where her mother Shindar Kaur set her on fire.People rescued him and admitted him to the hospital. The footage showed him trapped in the flames. Police have registered a case of Intentional Murder against Shindar Kaur. Shindar, on the other hand, denied the allegations and appealed for an inquiry into the footage.

According to information, Gurdhian Singh resident of ward number seven near Ravidas Mandir repairs axle vehicles. He had an affair with a girl from village Chounda for many years. On March 12, the girl invited him to her home. When Gurdhian Singh went to the girl's house, she was not there. The girl told him on the phone that she was coming home.

The girl told him on the phone that she was coming home. According to the boy, the girl's mother Shindar Kaur set him on fire. I can clearly see that he is spraying oil on himself. When he ran away after the fire broke out, people grabbed him and put out the fire with water. He was then rushed to the hospital by ambulance.

Mother Shindar Kaur said the youth was pressuring her daughter to run away from home. Due to which she remained in his relationship for 15 days. According to the woman, the CCTV footage showed the young man setting himself on fire.
