JNN, Mahilpur [Hoshiarpur]. The son of a family got married a month ago in Mahilpur of Hoshiarpur district. The daughter-in-law's health deteriorated on Thursday when family members rushed her to a civil hospital. About 11 o'clock, the daughter-in-law gave birth to a son. The family refused to take the child home for fear of defamation and secretly handed the child over to a female hospital staffer on Friday morning.

It was later reported that the female employee had sold for Rs 60,000 a day. When the commotion broke out, the woman said she had not sold the baby. He does not know what kind of child he is talking about.

The matter became more complicated when the child's investigation began. The girl was found near a family at village Kandowal, four kilometers from Mahilpur Civil Hospital. The couple, who had one child, had been married to their son for seven years. She had no children. The family said they did not buy the baby but adopted it. After a day of turmoil, it is not known how the baby got to the couple's home.
