Terror spread in the Nakhanwala Bagh area under Basti Bawa Khel police station when a policeman was killed by his son-in-law in broad daylight.

 The incident took place when the home guard was going to fetch chicken and vegetables from the market for dinner. Police rushed to the spot on learning of the incident but the accused had fled.

Her brother-in-law called to say that her father was lying injured near the canal. He and other people rushed to the spot and found that his father was not breathing. He called the police and found a surgical blade in his father's abdomen. Police have registered a statement and are investigating the matter.
