Shops will not be open in Punjab at this time and the Capt. Government may take a major decision on lockout and curfew in the state by this evening. The central government has allowed the opening of shops across the country with certain conditions. A notification has also been issued in this regard, but the Punjab government will not implement this order in the state yet.

Special Chief Secretary KVS Sidhu said that the decision to open shops in Punjab would be taken after deliberations. A 20-member government-constituted committee will present a report on the corona epidemic in the state this evening. After that a decision on opening, curfew and lockout of shops will be taken in a meeting.
