The commissioned police have recovered the body of the head found in Transport Nagar a few days back. The deceased has been identified as Babu Lal, a resident of Gadaipur. Police had arrested Babu Lal's wife Prabhati in the case. Babu Lal was killed by his wife Aashiq Radhe Shyam. The two brutally murdered him and beheaded him.

During the police interrogation, Rat made big revelations. The woman said that before marriage, she had an affair with a man named Radhe Sham, with whom there was a lot of trouble at home. He said that he had conspired with Radhe Sham to kill Babu.

As part of the conspiracy, on the evening of the 28th, the two attacked Babu Labh Singh with sharp weapons, beheaded him and killed him. The body was then placed on a bicycle and Babu Labh's head was dumped at a government school and his body was smashed in a sack near Transport Nagar Chowk. Both fled the scene after carrying out the murder.

Commissioner of Police Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the deceased and the accused were residents of Sultanpur, UP. Prabhati, the wife of the deceased, had an affair with Radhe Shyam. Both wanted to remove Babu Lal from the road. Due to this Radhe came to Jalandhar from Shyam village. On 28 February, Radhe Shyam and Prabhati met at Randhawa Masand and killed him and buried his head near a tree there. He then dumped the body inside a plot in Transport Nagar
